Last updated: September 2026. This policy explains what this website collects and why. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible
The operator of shortscandyai.com is the data controller for this site. Contact details are on the contact page.
What we store on your device
- Age confirmation. When you confirm you are 18 or over, a single value is saved in your browser’s local storage so the notice does not reappear. It contains no identifier and is never sent to us.
- Session cookies. Set only if you log in to the site as an editor. Ordinary readers are not given a login cookie.
Server logs
Our web server records standard request data , IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user agent , for security and troubleshooting. The legal basis is legitimate interest in keeping the site available and defended against abuse. These logs are rotated and deleted automatically.
Analytics
To be completed once an analytics tool is installed. If a tool that sets cookies or profiles visitors is added, a consent banner will be added with it and this section will name the tool, the data it collects and the retention period.
Affiliate tracking
Links to the platforms we review carry a tracking parameter. When you follow one, the destination platform may set its own cookies and becomes responsible for that processing under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregate commission reports , never your identity, your email or your payment details.
Fonts and external requests
Typefaces are served from this site’s own server, not from a third-party font CDN, so loading a page here does not disclose your IP address to another company.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. Because this site requires no account and collects no profile, in most cases the data connected to you is a short-lived server log entry.
