Read this before you subscribe
Premium is an all-platform subscription, not a Shorts subscription. The benefits listed at checkout are, word for word: create your own AI girlfriend, generate 18+ videos, generate 18+ images, the full live action experience, unlimited text messages, and 100 tokens a month. Shorts is not mentioned once.
That is not a trick, but it does change the maths: if the series are what you want, you are paying for a chat and image-generation product and getting the catalog with it. Two shorter cycles also exist and are easy to miss at checkout, billed $9.79 every two weeks and $5.60 weekly, both of which work out far more expensive per month than any of the plans above.
Tokens, and how far a month of them goes
This is the part no guide to Candy Shorts explains, and it is the part that decides whether a subscription is good value for you specifically. Episodes one and two of every series are free. Episodes three to five are unlocked with tokens, the platform’s own currency, and the price is set per episode: the series we checked charged 12 or 30 tokens each. Premium lists 100 tokens a month among its benefits.
Put those numbers together before you subscribe. If you intend to finish whole series, count three paid episodes each and work out how many that is at your plan’s allowance. If you mostly graze the free openers across a lot of series, the tokens matter far less and the subscription is really buying you the rest of the platform.
One question we cannot answer from outside. Whether a Premium subscription also reduces or removes the per-episode token cost is not stated anywhere a logged-out visitor can see. It is the single most useful thing to check on the checkout page before you pay, and we would rather tell you to look than invent an answer.
Which one actually makes sense
The annual plan is genuinely the cheapest per month and genuinely a year of commitment, charged as one payment up front. It is the right choice only if you already know the format holds you, which you cannot know before watching. The sensible order is: watch the free episodes of two or three series, then take the discounted first month if you want more, then move to annual at the next renewal if you are still watching. Paying $9.99 once to avoid committing $47.88 blind is not a waste, it is the cost of finding out, and it is the cheapest entry the platform offers.
Every plan renews automatically at the same rate and term. That is stated plainly at their checkout, and it is the single most common source of complaints about any subscription. How much is Candy AI Shorts?
There is no Shorts-only price. Premium covers the whole platform: $9.99 for a first month, $13.99 a month after that, down to $3.99 a month on the annual plan.
Do I need a separate subscription for Shorts?
No, and you cannot buy one. Shorts is included with Premium and is not named in the benefits list at checkout.
